Deserted my bloggie for such a long time due to busy schedule @.@ tiap tiap hari hospital, clerking, PE, discussion, reading, studying bla bla bla. Now I understand the reason y someone felt so reluctant to talk to me after his working in Hospital LOL haha.

Plan it since long time ago, to have an outing to Pavilion KL for birthday celebration for Hui Ching and Peng. Hehe. I seldom go to Pavilion coz cant afford the high expenditure there Xp. 21st birthday wat, so important hiak hiak. So we met with Peng in Pavilion after a short shopping and we decided to go for lunch in Fish & Co ^^

To get to Pavilion:
From Kl sentral  :   walk to monorail station, from KL sentral station, board down on the 5th station Bukit Bintang. From the station, turn right and see H&M. Along the road then will reach to Pavilion.

From Serdang   :  ktm to Bandar Tasik Selatan station, interchange to LRT ( Sentul Timur) to Hang Tuah station. Then interchange to monorail and head to Bukit Bintang station.

If you love seafood especially fish & chip, Fish & Co is a nice place for recommendation for the conducive and relaxing environment in the restaurant. Quite similar to Manhanttan, both are seafood based. Fish & Co served all their food in a unique style~ The Mediterranean style with pan!! So they have something special to avoid their tables from heating, lets see below haha.

The entrance of the Fish & Co. We were welcomed warmly by the workers and chose a place with good lightning to sit. The restaurant was quite dark and dimmed inside even in the afternoon!!

Hui Ching and Ruyi~ took a lot of photos while waiting for our food hehe.

Me and Peng~ one of my best fren in UPM. I guess tis was her first appearance in my blog? coz I seldom hang out with her haha.

Together with my lovely coba Lok Yee and Peng in the restaurant~

We ordered 3 sets of complete set of fish and chip ( with drinks, either passion fruit or kola tonic, and a soup of the day with another addition of RM7.95 ). We can also change the chips in the set into rice, mashed potato or coleslaw. Wish to order for seafood platter but scare cannot finish the food haha. So, all end up with fish and chips.

Soup of the day~ basically it is a mushroom soup with some carrot and some vege? the taste was quite not bad for me. Coz almost all western restaurant will serve mushroom soup for appetizers. The serving was quite fast enuf. perhaps some cheese powder will make the soup nicer? hehe

Lok Yee's  Red Velvet cake ( RM 9.95).
really recommended for tis!! the cake just melted in my mouth in the first bite, and it was not too sweet for me ( I allergy to sweet, toothacheT..T ) Limited desserts were available in the list, so we chose for the special one hehe.

My Italian fish and chips ( RM16.95)
slurrrppp~ nom nom nom. erm, rated for 7/10, not the best fish and chip I had but not the worst fish and chip that I had too. just nice for a meal hehe. ( had the worst fish and chip ever in Clarke Quay Singapore =..= nightmare!!)  The sauce was quite OK for me hehe.

New York Fish and Chips with mashed potato. ( RM16.95)
Tis girl was so happy with her meal. Basically besides the sauce on the fish, I do not really appreciate what was the difference between the 4 sets of fish and chips that we ordered, LOL. They put the nation flag on the food to prevent confusion. hehehe

Swiss Fish and Chips ( RM16.95)
the menu listed that this one can give a refreshing sense like Alps mountatin. Hui Ching ar do you have this kind of feeling?? muahahaha

Ruyi with her Best Fish and Chips with Rice  ( RM14.95)
The menu listed there that this set of fish and chip was awarded before so she decided to give it a try. The taste was not bad to me

The bar corner in the Fish & Co. Guess it will look prettier in the night time?

Here it is!! The magic items to prevent the pan from heating and damaging the wooden table~ the Fish Bone!! We put our flags on the fish bone haha. nice one to attract the customers and at the same time take care of their properties well.

One corner in the Fish & Co. there was a VIP sitting area behind, with another 20% charge. suitable for a private dining or a bday party? hehe

the look of the entrance of Fish & Co~ spacious and not congested, so every customer can dine in comfortably.

A group photo together with the entrance of Fish & Co ^^ nice place to dine in, will bring my family for a dine when they come to KL next time then hehe

Our outing ended like tis?? NO way!! it was just a beginning. Then we had a crazy shopping from Pavilion to H&M, with all the shopping bags, LOL. then we went to Komugi cafe in Tokyo Street Pavilion to buy some cake as a birthday cake for Peng and Hui Ching, ya the birthday girls hehe.

Zahha Chocolate cake slice ( RM 7.50) and Double cheese cake slice ( RM 9.00). yummy yummy ^^ feel so happy to have 3 different flavors of cakes in a day without toothache!! LOL

Happy 21st Birthday to the Birthday Girls Peng and Hui Ching ^^ Stay pretty and happy forever ya =))

And we ordered some buns in Komugi Cafe. the Fuwa Fuwa cheese bun ( RM 3.90) and the honey pumpkin ( RM3.50). the fuwa fuwa cheese bun was totally awesome with the cheese!! Love it so much. The honey pumpkin was actually a kaya bun with pumpkin look, LOL

Since a long long time ago I updated myself about my life as a medical student in UPM. So, now I am a third year medic students in UPM, say HI to clinical life and say goodbye to pre-clinical. Honestly, pre-clinical and clinical years have a obvious difference until we need to take 2 weeks time to adapt to the new environment. Will talk more about it later hehe~

First Part: Professional Exam

So here I passed my professional exam successfully during May 2013 ( thanks God) and get a ticket to third year. Professional exam was really a tough one since I needed to swallow every notes and knowledge that I had learnt thru out this 2 years, spilled it out in the exam. I used 1 month time to prepare for the exam, set a target that I must study at least 10 notes a day. Well, human are lazy, so do I, I tried my best to follow the schedule but most of the time I was left behind X..X  It was quite torturing during that 1 month time as our daily routine were : CLASS, EAT, STUDY.

Stress was totally overload during the study week time. Felt like wanna break down that time coz it was really tough for us to go thru. Really have a phobia to open up my eyes in the morning as I knew that tonnes of notes and exercise were waiting for me. Luckily my Boyfie was kind enuf to do revision for me ( He was having Professional exam 3 that time). Personally I was not the kind of "hardworking" students who can went to meet doctors and asked for guidance. Most of the time I preferred to study in the room myself or study together with Steven ( boyfie), or had a small discussion with frens. Making own notes is very important all the time to make sure that I understood WTH I was studying.

Professional exam was divided into 3 days, which consisted of  MCQ ( minus marking and single best choice answer), SAQ, something like PBL answering and OSPE. Squeeze my brain so hard that time to pass the exam. But until now I did not know my exact result yet ( just pass/fail). It was one of the most horrible exam that I ever had in my life. Some of my frens totally depended on TIPS for the study [ well there was a question leakage all the time during the exam, all I can say is non of the exam is a fair exam here]. This was not really a good phenomenon, coz you don really mastered what you should know. Don study just for exam as it was extremely risky in future. Especially comes to clinical year, honestly.

Second part~ Research time

Ouuucchh, this one really a long marathon nightmare to me. Yes I had a lot of holiday in my Sem 4, but the process was really frustrating. Poor efficiency from the office for all the documents required made the things worst. We had total 130 students in my batch, and we were divided into 57 groups, each group with 2/3 students. Honestly this number was not sufficient to perform a good research study thruout the time. We really lack of manpower ( I got 2 ppl include myself in the group only )

My research supervisor was a nice doctor from O&G department, Dr Anizah while my co-supervisor was my physiology lecturer Dr Rafidah. Both of them really nice and guided us a lot in the research, really learnt a lot from them. I was doing a community based research among medical students in K17, with the title of  "Knowledge, Attitude and Practice towards HPV vaccination among medical students in UPM". Basically our research was divided into 2 types: community and hospital based, primary data or secondary data. For my frens who were performing the research in hospital, lots of procedure they had to go thru such as application of NMRR. In short, the research was OK, but the procedure was frustrating and troublesome.

Although I was doing the research among medical students in K17, but some of the respondents were not co-operative enough. Luckily, I still manage to achieve the minimal response rate required ( and yeah I cheated some of the info to minimise the non-response rate). We learnt how to analyse our data by using SPSS version 21 and read a lot of useful articles about our research ( we called it Literature review) and it really widens my knowledge angle. We got 3 presentations in total : proposal, data analysis and final presentation, judge by doctors and statisticians to improve our research and their validity.

I worked quite well with my groupmate Asyraful, and we really spent a lot of money, time and effort just to make our research better. I cant really believe that I wrote a thesis with my fren when I was only second year, until I received my hard cover report from the photostat shop. Gosh the printing fees was so expensive X...X. Thanks to my groupmate and my doctors for the research ^^ Dr Anizah treated us a fantastic dinner in Red Wok Bangi after our final presentation, so nice!! In return we bought Ferrero Rocher chocolate for doctors haha.

** Enjoy this sem to the maximum before entering clinical years is very ESSENTIAL!! should have more travelling that time d >< went to Singapore only then stick my ass in Penang most of the time.

Dinner treat with my supervisor~ Dr Anizah and Dr Rafidah ^^ thank you very much for the guidance all the time ^^

My thesis book! pewww~ what a relieve everything had finished haha

Third Part~ Clinical Years

Well will just briefly describe about my clinical years now. What is the main difference about pre-clinical and clinical? During pre-clinical, I can enjoy my study comfortably ( actually study blindly ) in the room with notes and text books. While in clinical years, I had to attend to bed-side teaching in hospital and polish my practical skill most of the time in the ward, which was extremely tiring. And this is the reason why I seldom update my blog this month, due to exhaustion after I came back from hospital around 5pm, took a rest and started my study. When pre-clinical focused more in theory, clinical years emphasis in practical, in my phase, clerking and physical examination ( inspection, palpation, percussion and auscultation) .

I started my clinical year with surgery posting first. I will go thru 2 major posting before my final exam in April next year, surgery and medicine posting. Currently I am in the Introduction of Medicine, and will proceed to the real surgery posting next week. It was a totally new experience for me coz I can observe on what I had learnt so far in the text book. But it was not really a good sign when ppl was having this kind of diseases. Some of the cases were really important and it was a learning case for us such as heart murmur, appendicitis and lumps.

I wish to thanks to all the patients for giving me a chance to learn their diseases, and performed physical examination by system to polish up my skills. Not forget to thank my buddy seniors Flora and Shu Feng for the guidance and briefing on the equipments in wards and how to clerk and perform PE, and senior David to teach me how to appreciate murmur ( I was too stupid to listen to the difference that time made him so frus LOL) and gave me a chance to entered the procedure room to witness the chest tube insertion for underwater seal and pleural tapping. It was really a good learning chance for me. And my pity frens who sacrifice their arms for me to learn venupuncture Xp.

Venupuncture learning~ the yellow colour is the puncture site hehe. together with my fren's blood.

Talk about clinical practice, there was something which I cant really accept for, the GENDER problem. Some conservative thinking ppl in my class think that we should avoid contact with the different gender patient, or even lecturers when they asked for volunteers. As a medical student, a future practician, which one is more important? gender or a human life? What if there is a male patient presented with unconsciousness and loss of breathing, and only female doctor is present at the scene?

Well this is a critical question as it looks like having a intimate contact with someone. But in fact, we are not practising mouth to mouth CPR since my last duty in ambulance. For hygiene purpose we choose to use face mask, supply with the air pump. What if there is totally nothing around? I really wish that these fellow coursemates can be more rational in this matter. If we are prohibited from touching the opposite sex patient ( exceptional for female patient, chaperon must be accompanied for that), so how we are going to learn about O&G or breast cancer, prostate cancer what so ever? They always said they emphasise on gender equality, in fact the status of female were badly depressed for that. This is not a protection, but a restriction. I am OK to perform a physical examination on a male patient, but not alone for my own safety purpose. This is a 21st century and I have no idea why there is still a bunch of ppl to have such a old-thinking idea.

Well it was a bit lengthy here haha. Gonna say goodbye to my blog again as tomoro morning I got class at 9am. Tired!! bye bye haha
Here I'm back again to blog haha. So busy with my new semester. Will update more about my 3rd year uni life soon hehe. Step into a totally different journey adi~

Today gonna blog about my Perth tour last year, one year anniversary post? LOL haha. I blogged about my Perth tour in Fremantle, on the street, Swan River and lobster feast before, and now, it is the turn for one of the most incredible point of attraction in Perth~ the Pinnacles!! We booked the day tour from Australian Pinnacles Tour, and we assembled at the King's Hotel for the transfer to Barrack Square around 7.15am. This tour was different from half day tour in Fremantle, this one was really exhausting but at the same time we had double fun for the tour!! We departed from Perth city around 8.30-9am and reached back to Criterion Hotel around 8pm at night @.@

for more details about the booking, plz refer HERE

Photo with the nice tour guide and driver of the day~ He just like a friendly grandpa to me!! Thank you very much for all the travelling!

First stop of the day, we reached the Caversham Wildlife Park in Swan Valley to view Koalas and hand feed Kangaroos ( excited to the most haha), of coz, a photo session with the cute wombat in the park. We had a warm welcome from the workers of the wildlife park and the wildlife professional separated us into 2 groups to see kangaroos and Koala to ensure we had the best opportunity for animal interaction =)

First koala ever in my life!! It was extremely cute! and they moved quite slow Xp They lived in the closed area, becoz they were so fragile and faced with extinction so they needed extra care. I thought Koala was small but it fact it was quite big! Hi Koala!! love you so much ^^ OMG it was too cute I cant resist it while I am writing now haha. We were told that not to use flashlight when took picture coz Koalas were sensitive to it =))

mummy with the Koala~ it was so shy shy but sat like a boss on top of the tree LOL haha

Then we moved to the Kangaroo enclosure~ with a natural environment and FOC! haha. I don really remembered how I got the food, but it was extremely fun to feed to kangaroos with my own hand. I saw Kangaroos before in the zoo but this was the first time I had such a close contact with them!! cute as usual!! And I was so lucky to see a joey with its mom!

Me with the white kangaroo~ I never know that kangaroo can be in white colour lol haha. Saw the kangaroo behind it? there was a joey inside its pouch~

me and mummy fed the kangaroos together. They can hop very far distance, wow~ And the red Kangaroo looked like a big bully to the white one haha.

Say Hello to Wombat!! haha I had no idea what this animal was before until I google it. Another icons in Australia. Wombat is as cute as Kangaroo and Koala too!! a bit plump plump with a hairy nose and big tummy~ muahahha

We stayed about an hour in the park. And obviously it was not enough for us but we needed to head to the next venue. We travelled to a lobster fishing town in Cervantes for lunch. As I posted about it before about my lobster shack in Perth.

Along the way to the lobster fishing town~ different view like Malaysia~

We visited the lobster factory first before we had our lunch. It was a nice experience for us to visit the factory. We were provided a electronical translator each so we can understand more about the classification of the lobsters.

me with the huge size lobster!!! As big as my face OMG haha

Our lunch of the day~ lobsters!!! yummy yummy yummy~ the best lunch in Perth ever haha.

After lunch and battery recharging, we headed to Nambung National Park for the focus of the day~ mystical Pinnacles Dessert~ well, this was my first visit to dessert too! I was really amazed by the fascinating landscape in the park with all the pinnacles~ praise the work from the nature!

with mummy before we walked into the path~ the wind was quite strong that time due to the season, together with all the sands ( since we were in the dessert) oh gosh my eyes, I needed sunglasses for it haha.

Yeah!! the pinnacles!! Im so lucky to have the chance to view this amazing national creation!! I visited a larger "jungle of stone" in Kunming, Yunnan before and both were amazing! I cant really describe how beautiful this place was with words, so, I will share it with pictures~

The pinnacles~

Together with mummy~

In the half way we met a heavy rain ( or drizzle? not stormy rain but suddenly like water pouring from the sky, and here had no place for hiding T..T my umbrella was sacrificed here )

continue my photos with the pinnacles~

Then we walked to the exhibition hall in the national park to understand more about the formation of the pinnacles~ We did not take much photos becoz both of us not really interested in it Xp

Yoohoo, get ready for our last destination of the day~ massive white sand dunes in Lancelin~ I had an adventurous experience here with the 4 wheel driving ( of coz not me drove la) and the sand boarding! The best ending of a trip ever~ my adrenal grand kept on secreting lots of adrenaline for both of the activities!! haha wat a thrilling adventure than roller coaster!

me with the white sands as the background~ I was stepping on a white sand dessert not beach huh haha. saw the small hill behind me? that was the place that I was having my sand boarding later

view in the car during the 4-wheel driving~ beautiful sunset, pure blue sky, white sands, best combination ever~ this is the reason why I love travelling so much~

last photo of the day~ My sand boarding!! haha actually it just a normal board and what we needed was slide ourselves from the top of the hill. Look forward for snow boarding if I got $$ lol haha.

Good day everyone!! continue with my busy schedule~ huhuhuhu. gonna wait for the airasia zero fare tonight! I want to go for travel laaarrrrrr

Another food hunting, tis time, Im not going with mummy or Steven, but with 2 of my best frens together~ A Beh and Miss Helena haha. We went for Ceruk Tuk Kun for hiking that morning, then went to Penang for food after a bath. A Beh suggested for Chai Diam Ma in Lebuh Queen, so we just decided to try it out. I cant really remember how many cafe that I had visited before adi haha.

What is Chai Diam Ma? It is grocery store in Hokkien dialect.  The grocery stores in Penang is facing a big challenge in future due to the presence of supermarket nowadays. Most of them closed down becoz lack of business or no ppl to take over the store. In my childhood memory, grocery store was a place where I can get my candy and junk food easily. ya, all I care is about junk food in the store Xp.

For more information, please visit <>. Planning your Penang food tour? TourDirections Penang helps you discover Penang cafes and restaurants, Penang hawker food, Penang budget hotel and Penang homestay at

Although this cafe named as Chai Diam Ma, but it is not a grocery store. It is a old style cafe with lots of DIY items for sale. For me, this place will be better if they have a higher ceiling so it makes the ventilation better. It was too hot inside the cafe until I cant really enjoy my meal there. The tauke was very nice to introduce their signature food to us. As a result, all of us had carbonara as lunch that day muahaha.

Me and Miss Helena in the backyard of the cafe. They decorated it quite well but it was quite hot for us to dine there so we chose to dine indoor. Miss Helena was so excited as this was her first time to visit this kind of cafe =))

The interior design and the counter of the cafe~

A dining corner with the sofa. Again, it was too hot for us there so we chose to sit near to the counter. One of the difference of Chai Diam Ma with other cafes is it is not air-conditioned.

Cute DIY dolls items for sale. But I cant afford to get them because of their price T..T

Cute kitten pillow~

A corner with all the old times toys~ most of the cafes provide this kind of toys, so we can have a flashback of our memory? haha also a good way to kill the time while waiting for our food to be ready.

Now, it is food time!! well I lost the receipt ( not sure if Mr.Beh took it, so I cant really remember the price of the food)

Mr Beh with his hot chocolate~ They provided brown sugar too for the taste~

Miss Helena's passion fruit drink with syrup~ a lot of biji biji until she gave up to finish the drink at the end XD

My watermelon juice~ wanna ordered for something special actually, but the choices was quite limited.

And here it is, FOOD!! All of us ordered for carbonara although the rice was available haha

First one, Mr Beh's sausage with bacon carbonara. It was not as creamy as we thought, but it was really cheesy. Hmm, although Im a cheese lover, but I think tis was a bit too much for me.

My cheese carbonara with bacons and mushrooms. Know the reason why~ MUSHROOM!!

Miss Helena's Cheese Carbonara with salmon. erm, the salmon tasted a bit weird for me......

Miss Helena as my model~ actually the model shooting is not allowed in the cafe, so this was actually a random shot for her hehe

The backyard in the Chai Diam Ma
