Bangkok Hotel~ Pinnacles Lumpinee Park Hotel

On the first night upon our arrival to Bangkok, we had a sweet stay with Pinnacle Lumpinee Park Hotel, which is about an hour drive away from Don Mueng Airport.  We had this hotel so it is convenient for us to pick up our car at AVIS rental the next morning. Located in Rama IV Road, which is a busy road with heavy all the time. There is a MRT station nearby, which is Lumpinee station ( but we did not access to this place via MRT station at all). It is near to a shopping market which is SILOM shopping market. When I say market, it is really a market, not a mall. And I love Thailand's shopping market so much, it is a paradise!!

There is a famous park named "Lumphini Park' within walking distance too. And there is at least 4 7-11 stores with a tesco lotus just outside the main road, super convenient to us when we wanted to get some food for supper. and to me, fruit beer again Xp.

Was stunned by the grand lobby once we stepped into the hotel.

just love the design of the lobby. Amazing first impression ^^
in fact all the 4 hotels that we stayed in Bangkok and Hua Hin are fantastic.

The reception counter. The receptionist can speak good English. We had our check in smoothly without much annoying procedure. We had 2 superior rooms with breakfast during the stay.

The traditional corner of the lobby. The light was a bit dimmed over here, yea, a bit scary and that is the point. Consequences of too much Thai horror movie.

I just walked to the breakfast counter ( which was closed at that moment) and I just love the way how they decorate their table. The daisy was so beautiful!

So here is one of our room! we got 2 single beds in the room, the single bed is spacious enough for 2 people actually. The room was quite small, but enough for 2.

Coffee table corner at the room.

the cosmetic desk and the TV. Please remember to bring a international converter to Thailand because Thailand use 2 headed plug with a lower voltage. We brought an extension wire too because we had more than 5 electronic devices and there was only like 3 plugs available.
for the TV, they had mostly Thailand channel tv shows so we just spent our night watching some Thai drama ( they don have eng sub so I just have no idea what I was actually watching at LOL)

here is the toilet and bathing room
The water pressure for the shower was quite small.

we had a comfortable sleep in this hotel. The bed was not too hard but nice for me who had a backache ( old people =..=)

And we were greeted by this beautiful city view early in the morning. Good morning Bangkok ^^

The view from another room.

I just forgot to get some photos for the breakfast!!! worth for a try for their breakfast here, with good variety.
We just have not enough time to explore their fitness centre, rooftop, sauna and swimming pool.

the outlook of Pinnacles Lumpinee Park Hotel. There is some parrots outside the lobby.
There is some local thai restaurants outside the hotel.
We walked abot 20 minutes to Avis car rental shop in the caltex petrol station. In short, the hotel has a very strategic location, but with heavy traffic. We stuck in the traffic for about an hour for a distance of 15 minutes walking during our way back to return the car OMFG.

Busy road in Bangkok.
I love everything about Thailand, I don even mind about the language barrier, but the only thing I hate Bangkok so much is the horrible traffic jam all the time.
